The Right Materials

A quality deck starts with the right materials. The best workmanship in the world can not turn inferior materials into a beautiful and enduring deck. Thus we start with the best materials, including Grade A Lumber.



While construction with 2x8 lumber is typically sufficient to meet building codes, we have found that construction with 2x10 lumber results in significantly more sturdy and stable structures. Therefore, our work typically includes a foundation constructed of 2x10s or better. You will feel the difference!

Railings

Railings have a significant impact on a outdoor structure's overall visual appeal. Therefore, we fully finish and wrap all our railings and offer a variety of materials to give your railings and unique look. Standard features of our railings include

• 2x2 spindles
• Supported by 4x4 posts
